In order to use any anchor puller you must have a bow roller extending about 12" to 16" in front of the bow of your boat. E-Z Anchor Puller Mfg. Co. also builds bow rollers and bow pulpits. The bow rollerrs and bow pulpits are built out of PVC plastic. They have an aluminum flat roller, 3 1/2" wide with a stainless steel shaft and grease fitting. We also custom build bow rollers and bow pulpits of any size and shape to fit your boat. Both are built of of PVC plastic board and have stainless steel shafts and aluminum rollers with grease fittings.
Flat rollers work better with these units than V type rollers because they allow the line to wander back and forth which helps the line to wind smoothly on the spool. When you purchase a bow pulpit with the anchor puller, we mount the anchor puller to the pulpit and drill the holes before shipment. We also have available white PVC plastic board in thickness up to 1". PVC plastic board is stronger than aluminum and totally resistant to salt water.
It is no problem to go fishing alone with an E-Z Anchor Puller because all you do is sit in your seat and push the button. You never have to go out on the bow and tie your line to the cleat to pull the anchor loose. The anchor puller will not unwind unless you push the button.
