QUICKSET Series Anchors

Quick Set™ Series anchors are manufactured with dual operation shanks and are exceptionally effective in a variety of sea beds. Quick Set™ Series anchors have two slots for easy retrieval in different seabed conditions: long slot for rock and coral; short slot for most day-to-day anchoring. Using the long slot will enable you to pull the anchor out backwards with less resistance.

Sizes from 22 to 44 lb (10 to 20 kg). Available in marine paint over galvanized and in high polished stainless steel.

QSR Remains stable even when tide and wind conditions change

QSR utilizes lead ballast encapsulated within the tip of the anchor to achieve the perfect center of gravity for the initial bite and holding reliability that plow anchors are known for providing. These anchors are exceptionally effective in a wide variety of seabeds and remain stable in all tidal conditions.

  • Style: Plow or Wing
  • Material: Stainless Steel or Marine Paint over Galvanized
  • Application: All bottoms
  • Pros: Narrow shank profile for deep penetration, sets easily from bow roller
  • Cons: More expensive than fluke anchors. Comparable in price with scoops

QSV was designed to be as close to our ideal anchor as possible.

QSV anchor excels in a wide variety of conditions. A 32° shank angle is assured, as the shank comes to rest on reinforcing yokes inside the angled crown plates. The inward sloping crown forces its thin, sharp flukes into the bottom, while I-beam fluke construction provides extra safety with its strength and durability. Excellent holding in sand or sand/mud bottoms, but limited or no holding in grassy, rocky, or clay bottoms. Stows flat.

  • Style: Danforth or Pivoting Fluke
  • Material: Stainless Steel or Marine Paint over Galvanized
  • Application: Sand or sand/mud bottoms
  • Pros: Lightweight flukes, good holding power, economical price
  • Cons: Less effective on rocky, grassy or clay bottoms

QSX A fast-setting, high-holding scoop & ring style anchor for all sea bottoms

QSX anchors set immediately, digging in fast to provide peace of mind in crowded anchorages. The anchor provides excellent performance in a variety of seabeds. Built from high tensile steel, the QSX scoop & ring style anchor uses a roll bar to self-right instead of a heavily weighted tip. This ensures weight can be distributed to the load-bearing fluke for increased surface area and a much greater holding power. The sharp spear point of the QSX digs right in to almost every seabed type, penetrating deeply and setting immediately.

  • Style: Scoop & Ring
  • Material: Stainless Steel or Marine Paint over Galvanized
  • Application: Most bottom types
  • Pros: Narrow shank profile for deep penetration, wide fluke and chisel tip for high holding power, sets easily from bow roller, roll bar for self-righting and resets
  • Cons: More expensive than fluke anchors; comparable in price with plow style anchors
